Song of April 19th 2025 for me is “Possibly Maybe” by Björk.
I come back to this album once every year and it does something to me every time. The sun finally came out today so waking up and immediately putting this song on felt only natural. I have very fond memories of my older sister listening to this album when I was little.
Such a classic album and was her second studio album which is crazy! This women really is a star and has such a unique perspective on emotions and translating that into music. It makes me want to run around in a park with my friends and then lay down for a long time, so that’s what I am going to do today!
Honorable mention to “It’s Oh So Quiet” and “Hyperballad” of course.
