I really enjoy a beverage in the morning, and it is actually really important to me that I do so. Routines are vital in my life and I feel thrown off balance if I do not follow them. Making a drink in the morning helps me feel grounded after being in the ether for 6+ hours.
These are my favorites:
Matcha
Matcha has been my favorite this past month because it is getting warmer out. It is something to look forward to in the morning, an ice cold matcha that tastes like earth 🌸
I also really enjoy it because there are many steps in making it and I am fond ofthat ritual.
Chai
My mom used to always make me chai tea in the morning when I was kid going to school. I used to really not like school so that was something she did for me to cheer me up. I really liked drinking chai now because it reminds me of my mommy 🤎
I usually drink this when I am in somewhat of a rush to get my day started. I just buy a concentrate at the grocery store so I can conveniently drink it.
Coffee
I have a love hate relationship with coffee. Sometimes it makes my tummy hurt and sometimes it does not. I have tried it with different milks to see if that is the issue but no luck. Coffee I noticed also effects my mood a lot which can be for better or worse. It is always a guessing game with coffee and I am normally the loser ☕️
But when it is good oh boy it is good.
